Jockey Club Launches Informational Site

Earlier this year, The Jockey Club launched a website to provide information to both current and potential owners.  Enter www.ownerview.com in your browser (or simply click on the link provided above), and you will be taken to the homepage.  A wealth of information is provided free of charge, all on-site.  Prospective owners can browse trainers (viewing statistics, average vet charges and other fees, frequency of communication, references, etc.), check out syndicates, read and listen to expert advice on how to get involved in ownership, find out estimated costs, view a glossary of industry terms, select advisors, read about tax issues in the Thoroughbred industry, and even get a link to any state’s licensing procedures. Another look at Twitter

Social media has transformed the internet in the past few years — so much so that for a significant percentage of internet users, when they think of the internet, they think of Facebook.  Over the past couple of years, we’ve worked on maintaining a strong presence on Facebook, while other social networks such as Twitter have been more of an afterthought.  However, due to rapid growth in our Twitter followers, we’re working to use this service as well.  Questions about Twitter?  Read on.
