Arties Silver Mine won an allowance optional claiming race at Woodbine on Sunday, October 9. Trained by Reade Bake and ridden by James McAleney, Arties Silver Mine settled off the pace and closed down the stretch to win by a half-length. The 4-year-old gelding by Artie Schiller is owned by Jim and Susan Hill, and is a graduate of Margaux Farm’s training program.
