The team at Margaux Farm takes great care in starting young horses. Each horse is given the time to develop at its own pace, resulting in confident and professional racehorses.

Fundamental steps such as lunging and long lining are a vital part of our starting program, as is an early introduction to the starting gate. These measures ensure that the yearlings and two-year olds departing Margaux Farm’s starting program do so with a solid foundation for future success at the racetrack.
