Jim and Susan Hill’s Grand Arch is set to run in the Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1) at Santa Anita Park. The 5-year-old gelding worked five furlongs on the main track at Keeneland Saturday morning in his last serious work before the BC Mile. With rider Julien Leparoux aboard, the gelding went 1:00 4/5 in company for trainer Brian Lynch. He ships to Santa Anita on October 28th and is to be ridden by jockey John Velazquez.
