Margaux Grads Face Off in Grade 2 Kennedy Road Stakes

Friday, November 21, 2014

Sharp Sensation and Go Blue or Go Home will face off in a field of eight in the $200,000 Kennedy Road Stakes (G2) on November 23 at Woodbine. Both geldings are trained by Reade Baker and owned by Jim and Susan Hill.

Sharp Sensation enters the race coming off a victory in the Bet on Sunshine S. at Churchill Downs in what was his first ever dirt debut. He previously captured the Turf Monster H. (G3) at Parx Racing and the Karl Boyes Memorial S. at Presque Isle Downs. The versatile son of Sharp Humor has racked up three stakes victories on three different surfaces in a span of six months. He looks to capture his second graded stakes win on Sunday.

Graded stakes winner Go Blue or Go Home ran fourth in last year’s Kennedy Road.  The son of Bluegrass Cat placed second in the Ontario Jockey Club S. at Woodbine in June, and his last win came in 2013 when he captured the Highlander Stakes (G3) at Woodbine.

Post time for the six furlong race is 4:16 PM.
