Margaux training grad, RERUN, scored his first graded stakes victory on Saturday, April 25 at Gulfstream Park in the Miami Mile S.(G3) for owners World Thoroughbreds Racing, Inc. and trainer Chad Stewart.

"It was an awesome run," winning trainer Chad Stewart said. "We were pretty excited. He's a nice horse and he had a great day."

The six-year-old gelding by Grand Reward, sent off at odds of 21-1, prevailed by a half-length over reigning Miami Mile winner and favorite, Grand Tito.

“He’s always been cut out to be a nice horse, but he got injured just before I was about to run him as a 2-year-old. He had to have a year off before we ever got to run him,” Stewart said. “He’s a very nice horse. We’ve had very high hopes for him.”

Placing third was Margaux training grad SHATAK. Click here to watch a replay of the race.
