Sailor’s Serenade scored her first win on Saturday, Jan. 29 in her second start, a maiden special weight at Golden Gate Fields. Owned and bred by Bill Bowman and partners, the Margaux training grad drove clear down the stretch to edge a three length victory over her competitors. Trained by Sergio Ledezma, the three-year-old filly by Mizzen Mast was ridden by Juan Hernandez. Watch a replay of the race here.
