2-year-old Margaux starting and training graduate, Defining Hope, captured the Miss Indiana Stakes at Indiana Grand Race Course on Saturday, October 29. It was the second stakes win and third career victory for the daughter of Strong Hope. Ridden by jockey Malcolm Franklin, Defining Hope settled mid pack and drew clear down the final stretch to win by a four length margin. The win boosted Defining Hope's career earnings to $158,729 having captured three wins from four career starts. The dark bay filly is trained by Barbara McBride and owned by Colette VanMatre.
