Three-year-old gelding, Gio’s Calling, broke his maiden at Keeneland Racecourse on Sunday, April 24. After hitting the board in his first two career starts of 2015, the bay gelding by Gio Ponti was sent to Margaux Farm to be freshened in preparation for the 2016 Keeneland Spring meet. Trained by Brian Lynch, the win gave jockey Julien Leparoux his 400th Keeneland win.
