Margaux freshening, training and quarantine grad Kimbear has found his form in Dubai, taking the Burj Nahaar Sponsored By Emirates Holidays (G3) at Meydan on Super Saturday. Passed 300 meters from the wire, and finding himself two lengths behind, Kimbear battled back bravely on the outside to get the victory by a length and a quarter.
Purchased privately by Oracle Bloodstock in 2017, Kimbear shipped to Margaux for some R&R before resuming training at the farm while in quarantine for Dubai. Since arriving overseas, he has put together a record of 4-2-2-0. Ridden by Pat Dobbs for trainer Doug Watson, the four year old son of Temple City is thought to be pointing towards the Godolphin Mile (G2) on World Cup night.
