Our 2018 Saratoga meet started with a bang, as Daddy Is A Legend returned to the winners circle on opening day after a commanding win in the G3 Lake George Stakes. It was her first win since taking the G3 Jimmy Durante Stakes at Del Mar on November 25th to wrap up her 2yo campaign.
Sent off as the 8-5 favorite, Daddy Is A Legend hooked up briefly with Altea in the stretch before putting that rival away and drawing off to win by two lengths. Purchased from the 2016 Keeneland September Sale for $160,000, she now has three wins from nine starts and career earnings of $229,410.
