Premier Steps (IRE) (Footstepsinthesand {GB}) remained the session topper for Day 1 of the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale. Consigned by Denali Stud as hip 39, the broodmare prospect was sold to Japan's Shadai Farm for $400,000.
Graded stakes-placed in both France and England, Premiere Steps (IRE) won the Sweetest Chant S. at Gulfstream Park and was third in last year's Grade 3 Wilshire S. at Santa Anita.
Managed by Bradley Thoroughbreds LLC, Premier Steps (IRE) is a Margaux Farm training graduate and prepped at the farm prior to auction.
