Defining Hope Impressive in Swiftly Sired Fillies S. Victory

Margaux starting and training graduate, Defining Hope, galloped away from the field to win the Swiftly Sired Fillies Stakes by 9 1/2 lengths at Indiana Grand Race Course on Wednesday, May 24. Second in her 2017 debut, the reigning champion 2yo Indiana bred and sired filly cruised up outside of the leaders and kick away in the stretch under jockey Malcolm Franklin. The win boosted her career earnings to $224,094 for owner/breeder Colette Vanmatre and trainer Barbara McBride. Defining Hope's record now stands at 7-4-2-0.
