A Triple Win Day for Margaux Graduates

Saturday, May 6, 2017

Friday was a big day for Margaux  graduates, with THREE of them making the trip to the winner’s circle for their connections.

EXPECTATIONS, a 4yo Speightstown gelding and Margaux training grad, kicked off the day with a win in a maiden claiming race at Laurel Park for trainer Graham Motion, jockey Trevor McCarthy and owner Peter E. Blum Thoroughbreds.

Just fifteen minutes later, freshening graduate PUT ON A SHOW took home a maiden claiming race at Belmont Park by four lengths. The 4yo filly was making her third start of the year for her owner BHMF Racing and trainer Richard Violette Jr.

Freshening and training graduate ACES HIGH was well prepared to travel one mile on the dirt to take the 2017 season opener at Canterbury Park by a hard fought head. The allowance victory marked his fifth win in twenty-nine starts for the syndicate group Pocket Aces Racing LLC and pushed his career earnings over the $200,000 mark.
