Just over one month after stablemate Mr. Hustle broke his maiden in style, starting and training grad Pleasecallmeback made some noise of his own, taking a six furlong maiden special weight turf event by 3 lengths at Woodbine on Sunday. Piloted in his debut by Rafael Hernandez, the son of Hard Spun raced a bit greenly through the stretch before kicking in at the sixteenth pole to draw off for the win under a hand ride. The $200,000 Keeneland September purchase races in the familiar green and yellow silks of William Werner and is trained by Roger Attfield. The third winner from as many foals out of the stakes placed Rahy mare, Dixie Chicken, Pleasecallmeback is a half-brother to Woodbine Oaks winner Dixie Moon and restricted stakes winner Guy Caballero.
