Margaux Freshening & Training grad TOBYS HEART secured her second stakes victory in the Limestone Turf Sprint S., going 5 1/2 furlongs on the Keeneland turf course April 9, 2021.
Owned by Terry Hamilton, Brian Lynch and Gary Barber, the 3 YO daughter of Jack Milton chased just off the pace through a quick :45.39 half-mile. She swung wide coming into the final stretch and blasted by the leaders to win by a 1/2 length in 1:02.29. She earned an 87 Beyer for the effort.
“I had a great feeling about Tobys Heart when she came back into training after rehabbing and training at Margaux Farm,” said trainer Brian Lynch. “She looked in excellent condition and had a great foundation under her to start her 3-year-old campaign.”
Tobys Heart has won 3 of 4 lifetime starts with earnings of $153,150.
